Midweek Fiction: Ellen Kushner, "Gwydion's Loss of Llew"

I'm cheating a little this week. What I have to share with you isn't a short story, but a poem. But it is autumnal, and Octoberish, and beautiful.

Ellen Kushner is an award-winning writer, perhaps best known for her involvement with Bordertown, and her mannerpunk novels set in Riverside. "Gwydion's Loss of Llew" was originally published in Elsewhere, Vol. 2, edited by Terri Windling, and reprinted on the web at the Endicott Studio, also edited by Windling.
