Deck the Halls with Geeky Treasures! Fa la la la la!

It's that time of year when many people are putting up their holiday decorations--my Christmas tree is going up next weekend--and we would be remiss if we didn't show you ways that you can make your holiday as fantasy and scifi-infused as absolutely possible.  To that end, here is our list of top 10 holiday ornaments for 2011!

10. We'll start things off with a classic--this year's Star Trek ornament from Hallmark:

9. In the first of several on our list from Etsy, here's a familiar figure from Nintendo's Super Mario Brothers.  Make sure you check out all of thinkingmage's creations--there are quite a few that are fun!

8. Another Etsy shop worth checking out is MadAristocrat's--the green dragon below is just one of the many charms that can work as either jewelry or Christmas ornaments.  There are even several of the Doctors!

7. Speaking of Doctor Who, BBC America has as great TARDIS ornament.

6. Target has a cute Yoda ornament from Star Wars.

5. If you don't mind your decorations being a bit dark, this Dark Tower ornament from Zazzle might be just the thing for you.

4. I know the movie came out a while ago, but this Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe ornament is still one of my favorites.  The one side shows the door of the wardrobe, the other side shows Narnia and the lamppost.

3. Two Firefly ornaments for the price of one: first, a glass ball from Bogies' shop on Etsy, and second, Inara's shuttle, available from Amazon.

2. The three Harry Potter friends--Harry, Ron, and Hermione--as adorable wooden peg dolls.  CreativeButterflyXOX's shop has a lot of other cool ornaments, too.

1. And finally, in the number 1 spot, a set of 6 mice dressed as Lord of the Rings characters.  They're completely random, but I think they're utterly hilarious.  And if they weren't quite so pricey, I would definitely get them.

If that's not enough for you, Blastr has a list of 15 more holiday ornaments for scifi/fantasy fans.  And if you have favorites of your own, make sure you link to them in the comments!
