Midweek Fiction: Lavie Tidhar, "The Smell of Orange Groves"

I am fascinated by fragrance. Not just perfume, though certainly that, but the complexities of scent, and the intensities of the memories they trigger. "The Smell of Orange Groves" binds the ideas of scent and memory, and explores what it means to remember.

Lavie Tidhar's "The Smell of Orange Groves" was originally published in the November 2011 issue of Clarkesworld Magazine.
