Jane Yolen is, without a doubt, one of the fairy godmothers of fantastic literature. She is an accomplished, award-winning, and prolific writer of prose and poetry, and her work speaks to readers of all ages.
We conclude our celebration of National Poetry month with Yolen's Rhysling Award winning poem, "Will." "Will" was originally published as a broadside by Midsummer Night's Press, and then in the Spring 1992 issue of The Magazine of Speculative Poetry. It is linked here from its reprint at The Endicott Studio.
