We've talked a lot about N.K. Jemisin's work on this website, even having the honor of featuring a guest post from Nora herself.  But I think it bears repeating--The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms is an amazing book.  I am currently teaching this novel in a class on race and difference in speculative fiction, and during our first class discussion of the novel, several of them said, "This is the kind of book that we wanted to read in this class."

Let me just say this: I wholeheartedly agree.
