Our Fantastic Week Ahead: May 14, 2012

It's the middle of May already, which means a few things--first, that many of us are right smack dab in the middle of finals.  And second, that there are a whole bunch of TV shows' season finales that need to be watched.  It seems that this is a rather cruel coincidence, but maybe that's just me...

Anyways, this week we have posts that address both of these things.  We start things off this afternoon with the perfect way to procrastinate, whether you have to write final papers or grade them.  I'm not saying what it is, but those of you who grew up in the 80s will have a pleasant trip down memory lane (as long as you can avoid dysentery and other hazards of the road...).

Later this week, we'll take a look at the season finale for Once Upon a Time, a show that we've both liked and disliked over the course of its first season.  If you've been watching the show, make sure you weigh in and let us know what you think, too!

We'll also have the final installment in Adam Porter's series on Jonathan Stroud's Bartimaeus trilogy and an essay from Megan Kurashige about Jamaica Kincaid's At the Bottom of the River--both of which are sure to be wonderful.  Plus movie trailers, short stories, and lots more fun, so we hope you can come back and join us!
