Thirty years ago today, on July 9, 1982, the movie Tron was released. We've been anticipating this birthday celebration for the past month or so, featuring articles by Mark Schelske about various aspects of the Tron franchise. We'll bring you the final installment in Mark's series today, along with various other Tron-related tidbits all week. If you're fans of the movie (or the 2010 sequel), we hope you have enjoyed our coverage of the film, and if you haven't seen it yet, we'd encourage you to check out this movie that has shaped our culture's understanding of human/digital interactions. Happy Birthday, Tron!
We have other exciting things for you this week as well, including a review of John Scalzi's Agent to the Stars and Safiya O'Brien's thoughts on Mass Effect 3. We are also very excited to introduce a new contributor to Fantasy Matters--Jacqueline Porte, who will be sharing her thoughts on the recently released movie The Amazing Spider-Man.
It's going to be a great week--we hope you come back often to share in the fun!
