That excitement was intensified last week when we saw the extended trailer for the movie--it looks like it will be nothing short of spectacular:
The movie comes out on October 13, which gives you enough time to get your hands on a copy of the novel and read it first. While it certainly looks like the movie will do justice to Mitchell's series of interlocking stories, the original structure of the novel is fascinating enough that it's worth reading the book first.
