Happy Monday everyone!
Just a few reminders for you to start of the week:
First of all, remember that you have the chance to win fabulous prizes--all you have to do to qualify to win is post a comment on one of the posts for the week during the month of August. You'll get a new book, and you'll help me clean out my basement. Everyone wins! You can read more about the contest here, including a list of some of the possible books you could win.
Secondly, if you're looking for something to read, consider picking up John Scalzi's Old Man's War, which is this month's Fantasy Matters Reads! selection. We're still getting thing underway, so there's plenty of time for you to find a copy of the book, read it yourself, and join in the discussion!
Speaking of John Scalzi, we will kick things off this afternoon with my review of his new novel Redshirts. Later this week, we'll feature a piece by Megan Kurashige about some of the most magical live music that she has experienced recently, along with a review of Guy Adams' new novel Sherlock Holmes: The Army of Dr. Moreau. We're excited to say that we even will bring you an interview with Guy Adams himself!
It's shaping up to be a great week here--we hope that you'll be able to join us and contribute to our conversation!
