Just a reminder--the film version of David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas releases in theaters today!  I'm quite excited, and I hope that the film lives up to the brilliance of the book in at least some small way.  If you haven't seen the trailer yet, take a look:

Also for you today, we found a short film called Seed, directed by Tyson Wade Johnston and starring Justin Zachary.  It's eerie, and the black-and-white aesthetic (along with the plot) gives the whole thing a wonderful old-school sci-fi feeling:
