In a bonus post this afternoon, we are very excited to be giving away Suzanne Johnson's latest book, Elysian Fields.  This novel is the third in the series "Sentinels of New Orleans."  In the first book of the series, Royal Street (Tor, April 2012), Johnson set out to write a love letter to New Orleans, a city that has captivated and embraced people of all stripes, and remained a character in itself in our popular conscious. In Royal Street, Johnson introduced Drusilla Jaco, DJ to her friends, the Junior Wizard Sentinel for New Orleans, who had to search for her missing mentor and boss in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Then in River Road, DJ had to keep the peace between two warring clans of merpeople in the swamp.

Now, in the latest installment in the series, Elysian Fields, New Orleanians are under attack from a copycat killer mimicking the crimes of a 1918 serial murderer known as the Axeman of New Orleans. Thanks to a tip from the undead pirate Jean Lafitte, DJ Jaco knows the attacks aren’t random—an unknown necromancer has resurrected the original Axeman of New Orleans, and his ultimate target is a certain blonde wizard. Namely, DJ.

So, what do you need to do to win this book?

It's actually quite easy.  Just follow these steps.  Those who don't will be ineligible for the giveaway.

2. The title of your email should be "Johnson Giveaway."
3. In the body of the email, please include your name and an address that I can send your prize to. This information will remain private and seen only by me and the other giveaway organizers.
4. All emails should be sent by midnight (CDT) on Monday, August 19th.

One winner will be randomly selected and announced later in August.
