First of all, we'd like to thank all of you who posted your favorite scary stories for our book giveaway contest!  If you haven't seen the list, check it out over here--there should be enough scary stories there to keep you terrified for quite a while.  We are currently sorting through the list, and we will be announcing the winner on Friday, so make sure you come back then to see if you are the Chosen One.

We are also looking for other ways to get our readers more involved in the site, and one of our ideas is to post your current favorite books, movies, video games, TV series, etc., with a few sentences about why you like them so much.  Sounds like something you might be interested in?  Here's what you do:

1. Think of your favorite work of fantasy/science fiction.  It could be your all-time favorite, it could be one of your favorites, or it could even be just something that you're reading right now and really enjoying.
2. Write a few sentences (2-3) about why you like the work so much.
3. Email me at jen DOT miller AT fantasy-matters DOT com with the name and author of your work, along with your brief write-up.

That's it!  You are welcome to submit more than one favorite, and, since we hope to make this an ongoing series, you are welcome to submit things in the future if you develop new favorites.  We'd love to know what you're interested in, and even more, we'd love to be able to share that with the rest of our readers.
