A conventional choice, certainly, and unlikely to surprise anyone who knows me, but one of my fantastic favorites is the movie The Princess Bride. Yes, while I've read and loved the book, this is the rare instance where the movie version is better. It really does have everything - a terrific cast, brilliant and eminently quotable dialogue, a gorgeous soundtrack, fencing done well, and true love.
