Friday Fiction: Breaking the Frame

This week, the nominees for the World Fantasy Award have been announced.  Some very wonderful, amazing, and fantastic works are among the nominees, including N.K. Jemisin's The Killing Moon and G. Willow Wilson's Alif the Unseen, and we would invite you to check out the complete list for some great reading recommendations.

While we are certainly excited about all the nominations here at Fantasy Matters, there is one in particular that we are especially thrilled about.

Kat Howard, our content editor here at Fantasy Matters, has been nominated for her short story "Breaking the Frame," which was published in Lightspeed  last August.  It's an intriguing story of art and desires of all kinds, and I would highly recommend it.

Congratulations, Kat!
