While we are always working to bring you reviews and news about recently released works of science fiction and fantasy here at Fantasy Matters, this week we are particularly excited because we have two authors we get to feature--Saladin Ahmed and Theodora Goss!

Both Theodora Goss and Saladin Ahmed have written numerous wonderful short stories, and this week, we are pleased to be featuring both of their first novels.  Theodora Goss's novel The Thorn and the Blossom was released in January, and Saladin Ahmed's The Throne of the Crescent Moon comes out on Tuesday!  Here is the trailer for The Thorn and the Blossom:

We'll feature other works from these authors this week as well, including an anthology of stories Goss edited with Delia Sherman called Interfictions and one of Ahmed's short stories.  Oh, and we'll have something about The Vampire Diaries, too, so it should be an all-around great week!
